Vacation Programs

Vacation Programs at SHEEP PASTURE

The NRT offers its vacation programs for children in grades K-5 in both February and April each school year.  Each program has a fun and unique theme, where seasonal indoor and outdoor activities are planned every day. In February, get ready to have fun outdoors with winter games, hiking adventures, and seasonal crafts and games. April vacation brings new opportunities for adventure, as NRT naturalists lead children on explorations of the natural world as it wakes up for spring!

Pre-registration is required for vacation programs, and enrollment is limited. Vacation programs are generally offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays of school vacation week; exact dates will be posted here when registration opens each season. Two session options are offered to meet the needs of individual families.

February 18, 19 & 20, 2020

This year's February Vacation Program was an absolute blast! We would like to thank all our participants for such a fun and exciting week. Some of our favorite activities included building hibernacula for an Arctic animal jello experiment, going on "camouflage" and Arctic bingo hikes, making puffy paint polar bears, completing team-building challenges, designing homemade snowshoes, and playing outdoor games!
Thank you again and see you next year!
