Cost 2024:
$20 per family, for up to five people
Additional people at $5/ person
Admission, food, and any sales are cash only on the day of the event.
Dogs are not allowed at the event. Please do not leave pets unattended in cars in the parking area.
Admission price includes activities, hikes, and presentations, as well as fun treats that children can get from visiting each booth! People of all ages are welcome to attend. Most activities are appropriate for toddlers age 3+ to about age 10, but everyone is welcome to join in.
Food items, pumpkins, or other goods may be sold at the event for an additional fee. The closest ATMs are available at North Easton Savings Bank on Main Street or at Bank of Easton on Washington Street.
Families are encouraged to bring a flashlight for outdoor activities at dusk.
The Spooktacular is an NRT fundraising event, and all admission fees and proceeds directly benefit the annual operations of the NRT of Easton, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that allows free community access to Sheep Pasture throughout the year. Donations to NRT will be gratefully accepted at any of the activity booths. We appreciate your support of NRT for the community!
No pets of any kind are allowed at Spooktacular. For everyone's comfort, please leave pets at home and do not leave them in vehicles in the parking area. Working service animals trained to complete specific tasks for their handlers as defined by the ADA are always welcome.

The Spooktacular is a "cloud or shine" event. In the event that the Spooktacular is cancelled due to rain or other concerns, information will be posted on the NRT home page and on the NRT's Sheep Pasture Facebook page as soon as a decision is made. There is no rain date for the event.
The Sheep Pasture gates will be closed during the day on Saturday, 10/28/23 for event set up, until parking opens at the 261 Main Street gate for the Spooktacular, at approximately 1:30 pm. Admission to the event will not open until 2:00 pm.

Fire Pit and Marshmallow Roasting- included with admission!
Join us near the NRT poultry barns! Marshmallows and roasting sticks will be provided.** If you wish to bring additional marshmallows or other items, you can. Please be respectful of any visitors who may have peanut allergies if you bring additional items.

Nature Hikes at Sheep Pasture- Included with admission!
For our adventurous visitors, join an NRT educator on a 15-20 minute hike into the woods on the Sheep Pasture paths and learn how to explore the world with your senses. Hike will be accessible and appropriate for children and adults of all ages. A schedule for hikes will be posted at the Spooktacular.
Face Painting Station- Included with admission!
Have a good time becoming a lion, a mouse, or just adding some artwork to your cheeks! Use our supplies to create a fun new look to celebrate fall.
Skulls n' Stuff Station- Included with admission!
Come explore NRT's collection of animal skulls, pelts, and biofacts with an NRT naturalist, and learn what makes each one special. A great chance to get up close to learn about animals!
Pumpkin Decoration Station- decorating free with pumpkin purchase at Sheep Pasture!
Use our art supplies to create a your own special pumpkin with paint, glitter, and more! Pumpkins will be offered for purchase during the event*. A "pumpkin parking area" will be available for decorated pumpkins while guests participate in other activities.

Family Photo Booth Station- Included with admission!
Take advantage of being all dressed up in costume and take a great photo to remember the fun you had at the Spooktacular!
Search Spooktacular for Treats!- Included with admission!
Visit each of the the event booths marked with a pumpkin lantern and children can get small goodies* as they move through the event! One treat per child at each booth, please.
Spooktacular Food
Hot dogs, chips, cookies, cider, and other drinks will be available for purchase. Have a snack while you explore the event!
Family Yard Games- Included with admission!
Have some outdoor fun with our collection of yard games, including corn hole, bowling, and more!
**Some items may be small and children's use should be supervised by adults. Food items may contain allergens. Please inform booth supervisor is there is an allergy concern. All items while supplies last.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the Spooktacular. Children who are unattended will not be allowed admission. If you are planning to bring a large group of 10+ people or if you are an organization seeking to bring clients or a larger group, please contact the NRT at [email protected] at least one week in advance so we can assist you with any questions.

Spooktacular is designed to be a fun fall event for all children and will not feature scaring or extra loud attractions.
Please look above for a summary of activities planned for the event. We encourage all families to attend and we work to make the event welcoming for all, including our neurodivergent friends. There may be themed music playing in some areas, but no chainsaw sounds, loud noises, or scaring characters will be on site, as are found at many haunted attractions. Costumes are fantastic (staff's favorite part of the event is enjoying the costumes), but are not required. Strollers and/or wagons are allowed; no bicycles, skateboards, etc. are allowed in the event grounds. To make sure everyone feels comfortable, please no gruesome/ extremely frightening costumes at the event. No toy weapons of any kind are allowed. ** All give away items, pumpkins, treats, etc. are while supplies last only and may have limited availability, depending on attendance. Activities listed are as planned and may be changed without notice.
Parking:
Limited free parking is available at Sheep Pasture. Please enter at 261 Main Street, North Easton, MA to enter the parking area. All other gates/ entrances at Sheep Pasture are closed for the duration of the event, and all guests must enter at the 261 Main Street gate. For families coming close to dusk, we recommend bringing flashlights to the event. We encourage families and friends to carpool when possible. Please, no bicycles or skateboards on the grounds.
Parking may fill and be closed prior to the scheduled end of the event. Entrance gates close 20 minutes prior to the end of the event, or when event has reached its capacity. Updates and changes will be posted to nrtofeaston.org and NRT's Sheep Pasture Facebook page if needed.
Event Information:
No pre-registration is required. Families of all ages are encouraged to attend. Admission fees at the gate will be priced per family and will include activities at the Sheep Pasture SPOOKTACULAR, including the fire pit, pumpkin decoration station materials, arts and crafts, and other group activities. Hand stamps will be required to participate in all activities. Optional pumpkins, small items, and/or food may be offered for sale at the event for a fee and are not included in the admission price. Any give away items or stations may have limited quantities; give aways are while supplies last.
All admission fees and proceeds from the event directly support the maintenance and operation of the non-profit NRT and Sheep Pasture throughout the year.
