Unfortunately, due to being short staffed we are unable to offer the 2021 Spookatcular this year. We will be planning further for 2022!

Information for Spooktacular 2019:
​Limited free parking is available on site. Enter at 261 Main Street and you will be directed.

​A great family-friendly event that with special fall activities for visitors of all ages!

People of all ages are welcome to attend. Most activities are appropriate for toddlers to age 10+,
​accompanied by a parent. 
​Please look below for a summary of activities planned for the event. Costumes are great, but not required.
To make sure everyone has a good time, please no costume weapons or extremely frightening costumes at the event. Thank you!.

​The Sheep Pasture gates will be closed on Saturday, 10/26/19 for event set up, until parking opens at the
​261 Main Street gate for the Spooktacular, at approximately 2:45 pm.
​Admission to the event will not open until 3:30 pm. 

 We look forward to seeing everyone at the Spooktacular! 
Cost:
$20 per family,  for up to five people
Additional people at $5/ person
Admission, food, and pumpkin sales are cash only on the day of the event.

Price includes all activities, hayrides, crafts, and activities.
​Food items, pumpkins, or other goods  may be sold at the event for an additional fee.​
Families are encouraged to bring a flashlight for late afternoon/ evening outdoor activities

All admission fees and proceeds from the operation of NRT's Spooktacular directly benefit the operations of the NRT of Easton, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
No pets of any kind are allowed at Spooktacular. Working service animals are welcome.
​
Spooktacular events include:

Family hayrides throughout the event
Hayrides will be scheduled during the Spooktacular in both daylight and dusk. Enjoy an afternoon ride through the beautiful fall foliage, or join us after dark for a fun ride through nature after the sun goes down. This will be a family-friendly hayride, with no spooky costumed characters, frightening effects,  or scary scenes. This is not a "haunted" hayride. Hayrides last about 10 minutes and take place completely on the grounds of Sheep Pasture's paths and fields. The only glowing eyes you may see will be the reflections of the deer or other wildlife who may watch the hay wagon as it passes by! The line for hayrides will be closed approximately 30 minutes before the end of the event. Families may ride the hayride as many times as they wish, but must get in line each time.
Please note that hay rides are weather and ground condition dependent and may be cancelled at any time for safety reasons due to weather or trail conditions at the time of the event.

Fire Pit Station 
Spend time by the fire while you relax with friends on a beautiful fall afternoon and evening.
Nature Hikes at Sheep Pasture
For those adventurous visitors, join an NRT educator on a 15-20 minute hike into the woods on the Rhododendron Trail or other Sheep Pasture paths and learn how to explore the world with your senses. Hike will be accessible and appropriate for children and adults of all ages. A schedule for hikes will be posted at the Spooktacular.
Face Painting Station
Have a good time becoming a lion, a mouse, or just adding some artwork to your cheeks! Use our supplies to create a fun new look to celebrate fall.
Skull Station
Come explore NRT's collection of animal skulls and biofacts, and learn what makes each one special. A great chance to get up close to learn about animals!
Pumpkin Decoration Station
Use our supplies to create a your own special pumpkin. Families can bring their own, or additional pumpkins will also be offered for sale for a small fee during the event*. A "pumpkin parking area" will be available for decorated pumpkins while guests participate in other activities.

Arts and Crafts Stations
"Make and take" fall arts and crafts activities will be available for visitors of all ages. 

​For everyone's safety, please note that pets will not be allowed at the SPOOKTACULAR event or on the hayride. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times during the Spooktacular. No children who are unattended will be allowed admission.

​ For everyone's safety, pets of any kind are also not allowed on the Sheep Pasture grounds during the Spooktacular event. ** All give away items, including grab bags, pumpkins, or other items, are while supplies last only and may have limited availability, depending on attendance. Activities listed are as planned and may be changed without notice. 


Parking:
Limited free parking is available at Sheep Pasture. Please enter at 261 Main Street, North Easton, MA to enter the parking area. All other gates/ entrances at Sheep Pasture are closed for the duration of the event, and all guests must enter at the 261 Main Street gate. For families coming in the evening, we recommend bringing flashlights to the event. We encourage families and friends to carpool when possible. Please, no bicycles or skateboards at the event.
Parking may fill and be closed prior to the scheduled end of the event. Entrance gates close 15 minutes prior to the end of the event, or when event has reached its capacity. Updates and changes will be posted to nrtofeaston.org and NRT's Sheep Pasture Facebook page if needed.

Event Information:
No pre-registration is required.  Families of all ages are encouraged to attend. Admission fees at the gate will be priced per family and will include all of the activities at the Sheep Pasture SPOOKTACULAR, including the hayrides, fire pit, pumpkin station materials, and other group activities. Hand stamps will be required to participate in all activities.  Optional pumpkins, small items, and/or food may be offered for sale at the event for a small fee and are not included in the admission price. Any give away items or stations may have limited quantities; give aways are while supplies last. 
No pets are allowed at the Spooktacular event. 
​

All admission fees and proceeds from the event directly support the maintenance and operation of the non-profit NRT and Sheep Pasture throughout the year.
