2023 SHEEP PASTURE AFTER DARK SCHEDULE
Program topics and times are subject to change.

March
Thursday, 3/23 - 6:30-8:00 PM
Sounds of the Night
Have you ever wondered what goes on outside after the sun goes down? When our sight becomes limited our ears will guide the way. Let’s take time to experience nature after dark.  Join our educators as we explore the Ames Parker Loop Trail and hear what Sheep Pasture has to offer.

April
Thursday, 4/20 - 6:30-8:00 PM
Owl Prowl
We heard that someone has been possessed by an owl. Who? Find out at Sheep Pasture when you join our educators at our most popular program, Owl Prowl. Families will take a guided hike through Sheep Pasture’s trails as they uncover the secret life of these nocturnal raptors. We will be searching for evidence left behind by the birds of the night.
May
Thursday, 5/11 - 6:30-8:00 PM
Animals in the Dark
When darkness falls upon Sheep Pasture, nocturnal creatures come out to play! Join NRT educators as we hone our senses and explore the wonderful world of the night. We’ll learn how nocturnal animals use their amazing senses to find food, move around, and avoid predators in complete darkness. Be sure to bring your game face - as we walk the trails of Sheep Pasture, we’ll be stopping to test out our own nocturnal senses in a series of family-fun games!
