Buy your eggs locally! Eggs from Sheep Pasture chickens offered at $4.00/dozen as availability allows. Egg production is seasonal, with the shorter days of fall and winter leading the chickens to produce fewer eggs. At NRT, we do not generally keep artificial lighting on in the chicken coops to promote year-round eggs laying, so there may be times when the supply is low. The eggs you receive may be in a variety of colors, from white to brown to light blue or tan, depending on the breed of chicken that laid each egg. Regardless of the color of the outside, each egg is delicious and will give you the farm-fresh taste you are looking for. Due to availability limitations, we do not package or sell eggs according to color.
All eggs sold at NRT are farm fresh eggs from Sheep Pasture's own chickens, and all eggs are sold by the dozen. All proceeds go to the benefit and operation of the farm animals.
