The 2020 recipient of the Elise Ames Parker Award was Mr. Avery "Lee" Williams. A lifelong Easton resident, philanthropist, and avid organic gardener, Mr. Williams has been actively involved in the NRT from near its inception in 1967. Throughout the years of his involvement with NRT, Mr Williams has worked to support the organization's mission for the benefit of the community in many ways. In addition to sharing his passion for agriculture and organic practices with others throughout the years, Mr. Williams to fund various improvements to the Sheep Pasture property, including the building of the Stable Barn and supporting the planned construction of the NRT's newest livestock barn in the years ahead. Mr. Williams also was a strong supporter of the NRT's environmentally-friendly composting toilet facility, "Lee's Reading Room", located near the pavilion at Sheep Pasture.
The NRT, its Directors, and staff would all like to congratulate Mr. Avery "Lee" Williams on receiving the award, and we appreciate his long service to the organization and the greater community.
