Scouting Programs

The NRT offers a wide variety of Girl and Boy Scout programming year round to satisfy badge requirements for all scout levels with hands on, nature-based programs. Most programs include a discussion regarding the badge requirements that will be met, group activities and a hike. NRT is also willing to develop customized programs tailored especially for your group’s needs. Please have your troop's badge/ project requirements available when contacting NRT; the NRT does not maintain a list of individual badge requirements for various groups.
Due to program design and scheduling requirements, please contact the NRT no later than 30 days prior to your requested date. Scouting program fees may vary, depending on program topic, group size, and length of activities.
Minimum fees will apply to all scheduled programs.
NRT educators and staff will work with scouts individually or as a troop to design and implement service projects. Service candidates can work in a number of different areas, including during NRT events, clean up programs, and other custom projects. Service hours begin at two hours and can continue for longer, if needed. Please contact the NRT for project availability and/or to arrange a group service project.
Eagle Scout candidates interested in working with the NRT are encouraged to contact us with project ideas well before their expected completion date. Eagle Scout candidates should click here for more information on proposing Eagle projects, including the pre-approval form and required timelines for approvals.
