Helpful Definitions
Track: An imprint of an animal's footprint left behind in dirt, mud, snow, etc.
Consumer: An animal that gets its energy from eating other organisms such as plants or other animals.
Invertebrate: An animal with no backbone (i.e. slugs, snails, worms, dragonflies)
Scat: An animal's poop!
