NRT's Family Programs
Family Science Outings

Join NRT naturalists for this new and exciting set of programs geared towards getting families involved in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) related activities and events. Families can enjoy experiments, hikes, species analyses, hands-on activities, and so much more! The Family Science Outings are rain or shine- if it's raining or snowing, then all of the activities will be held indoors. Outing activities are appropriate for all age levels, from young adventurers to adults. Individuals and families are welcome.
This is generally an indoor/outdoor event so please come dressed for the weather.
$5/family (up to 6 people) for all NRT members and $10/family (up to 6 people) for non-members.
No pre-registration required. Class space and supplies may be limited.

All outings will meet inside the Carriage House on our Sheep Pasture property at 307 Main St., N.Easton, MA 02356.
In the event that one of the sessions is cancelled or changed, please check our website for the latest information.

Programs are generally scheduled one Thursday evening per month from 5:30 - 7:00pm. The 2017 schedule is below:
March 23- Owl Prowl
** March's Owl Prowl and owl pellet investigation has been moved from March 16 to March 23 @ 5:30**
April 20 - Vernal Pools
May 18- Colors of the Wild
June 15 - Fun on the Farm
July 20 - Interesting Insects
August 17 - Glowing Nature * Followed by the NRT's campfire/sing along (weather permitting)!
(No fee or registration required for the August 17th night hike & campfire, donations will be accepted)
September 21 - Birding II @ Sheep Pasture (all are welcome!)
*The hike on September 21st has been canceled due to weather conditions
