HISTORY |
The programs run by Sheep Pasture for the Easton Schools remain the cornerstone of the NRT's environmental education. In 1973 this program began with a few classrooms of students from the North Easton Grammar School.
Currently the NRT teaching staff offers grade-appropriate field trips and in-school programming to grades K-6 on topics such as animal habitats, farm products, geology and local watersheds. This partnership with the Easton Public Schools enhances the learning experience by promoting environmental education and land stewardship to children at an early age. In addition all programs are linked to the Mass. Curriculum Frameworks.
