NRT STEM-BASED PROGRAMS

Traditional SCHOOL Programs WITH NRT

*Because of restrictions due to Covid-19, NRT is not currently scheduling in school programs of on site field trips. Programs can be presented virtually, using Zoom as an interactive platform to engage with students either in class or at home. Please visit the NRT's Virtual School Programs page to see how NRT naturalists can still bring a meaningful science-based  experience to your students!

VIRTUAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS

The NRT's trained naturalists can provide exceptional science-based learning opportunities to children from ages 6 to 18. With a wide variety of topics to choose from and age appropriate science-based lessons, the NRT's virtual learning programs not only teach facts, but engage students in learning.

All programs are aligned to MA Curriculum Frameworks and are available on a wide variety of topics. Programs can be booked individually by class, by grade level, or by school, depending on your needs. With flexible scheduling options and program customization available, your students can have the educational programming they need, delivered at a time that works for your class or school.

For more information on virtual science programs available through the NRT Education Department, please visit the NRT's Virtual Learning page or contact the naturalists by clicking here.
TRADITIONAL ON SITE AND IN SCHOOL PROGRAMS

NRT naturalists can create a custom program for your group based off of specific curriculum guidelines.

What are teachers saying about the NRT's environmental education programs?

“Wonderful program- patient and knowledgeable teachers.  My students said- ‘that was the best field trip ever!!’”

“The teachers are awesome.  They’re really great with the kids.  Their classroom management and delivery is excellent.  They’re clear and easy to understand.  Thank you!”

“The presenter was very knowledgeable about the topic and was a master at engaging the children throughout her presentation.  Although the children have not been exposed to the science unit on organisms and their environments yet, the information shared with them gave them schema that will be helpful when they’re studying about the topic later.”

“As always, the program was well planned, age appropriate, and of high interest.  Reinforces skill in a real life way.”
