Autumn Adventure! (Sheep Pasture: After Dark)
Autumn Adventure
Thursday, November 21
5:00PM – 6:30PM
Take a walk on the wild side, and find treasures from our fall forests!
Wander the autumn woods at Sheep Pasture, in search of mushrooms, fallen leaves, and more! We'll learn more about the important things happening as fall turns to winter, and what local plants and animals do to prepare for this changing time of year.
NRT Educator Tristan will show you how to identify the different leaves that have fallen to the forest floor, help you spot bird nests and squirrel dreys, and find all the nuts and seeds that are waiting for warmer weather!
Night hikes are back at Sheep Pasture with our Sheep Pasture After Dark program series! Join NRT educators after hours as we discover nature in a whole new way. Each program will feature a unique topic delivered during a hike of Sheep Pasture’s trails. All hikes are slow-paced on relatively level trails and programs are suitable for all ages. Be sure to bring your flashlights good shoes for walking plenty of water and anything else you might need for this 90-minute excursion.
Admission is $10 for NRT Members and $12 for NRT Non-Members. Children 4 and under are free.
Sheep Pasture After Dark programs will meet in front of the Carriage House. The Carriage House can be found across the driveway from our chicken coops - it’s the building with two sets of double doors and the concrete ramp! The physical address for the Carriage House is 307R Main Street North Easton.
