While it may be tempting to brush these claims aside, scientific studies are beginning to find that there are real, documented health benefits to walking in the woods on a regular basis. Some of the reported health benefits include lowering blood pressure, improving mood, decreasing stress, and improving sleep, among other benefits.
Sheep Pasture is open 7 days a week from dawn to dusk for all types of passive recreation along our fields, trails, and woods, including hiking, jogging, and other non-motorized sports. Trail maps of the property are available online for download or display on your smartphone or tablet. We encourage everyone to include outdoor time as part of a healthy lifestyle.
