The Natural Resources Trust has been proudly serving the local community of Easton and areas throughout southeastern Massachusetts since 1967. We are dedicated to maintaining hundreds of acres of conservation land for all to enjoy, and we are ecstatic to continue our longstanding tradition of providing unique educational opportunities to thousands of students each year. We are also the proud host of many family fun events throughout the year, which have been excellent opportunities for us to further engage with our community members. NRT looks forward to continue offering space and opportunities for friends and family to come together and enjoy their local heritage.
In lieu of our 50th Anniversary, we will be celebrating our history by hosting a series of educational workshops for all! The workshops will begin in spring 2017, and program topics will include gardening, composting, backyard chicken care, nature journaling, outdoor recreation, beekeeping and much more! We encourage all who are interested to attend. For more information please continue checking our 50th Anniversary page, or come on down to Sheep Pasture, where event information will be posted.
We also want to celebrate our history by asking you, our local community members, to share your memories about Sheep Pasture. Whether you have visited to exercise, walk your dog, take family photos, picnic, see farm animals, get married, participate in your school field trip, or just enjoy nature, we want to know about your experiences. If you have any photos or stories and would like to share, please send them to NRT at firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject “I remember when”. Some stories and photos will be featured on NRT’s website each month throughout the year.
Happy 2017 and we look forward to the coming year celebrating with you!
